| | Green Day - When September Ends | ] | so i'm at work and bored - there's a surprise. So today is one of the last few days that all us seniors will be together for a while. Really starts to bring back all the memories from the last few years and everything that has happened, both good and bad. We've all been through it all and helped each other through it all. So thank you to everyone for some amazing high school years and memories and good luck to you all in the future.
OK, this was a poll that was come up by myself and someone else... What do you think? ... Which is better? 1. country music 2. "ass-shaking" music
I definitely have to see everyone before I leave, so gimme a call if you wanna do something. That is all for now. |

| | some song from the reception... | ] | OMG what an awesome weekend!!! In augusta for the wedding. Last night was garba and raas - doing it up BIG desi style!! Twelve steppin' it all night! The actual wedding went off well this morning, then had a break in the afternoon, then partied into the wee hours of the morning just now! haha!! from 10:30 - 1:15 nonstop dancing. A bunch of dancing, a bunch of people just wiling out, a bunch of hot indian girls - what more can you ask for huh? ;-). Except the girls were either juniors in high school or like 25 years old - all good though - still a crazy time no doubt!. Everything from the electric slide to candy shop to maahi ve... Sooooo many drunk Techie graduates there (the future Zohebs and Abhisheks of the world!)... Congrats and all the best to Amar and Nitya (they're not gonna read this so there's really no point in me writing it...)
This weekend has definitely been one of best weekends in a looong time - def. needed this break and enjoyed meeting all these new people from all over... Anu, if you're reading this, I had a blast with you and your friends and your sisters' friends all night! Tell Radhika, Anjali, and that other Punjabi girl that owns these two hotels I said whats up!! (oh, and if you can, see if you can get the online website link to roshan's photos if he posts them online b/c he took a bunch at the reception and i'd like to see those - thanks)
"HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY!!!"
On another note, 13 days... 6 for some of you guys - "live it up and then enjoy every day!"

| | The Verve Pipe - Freshmen | ] | First of all, for those of you who don't know, tomorrow night is the opening of the new Circuit City on Woodruff Road, and they're gonna have some guests there. Larry Holmes(former heavyweight champ) and the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders will be from 6 to 7 - just thought I'd let people know that.
Yesterday night was a fresh prince marathon - eight episodes in a row!!! "This is my brother Carlton. He knows we can't afford bigger clothes, so he just doesn't grow!" "Even in ancient times, they would raid you village, stone your family, but they never called your mother man!"
... haha those are two of the many that i remember
This weekend is going to be pretty fun - leave Friday for a wedding in Augusta, GA which is cool, but I'll have to miss white water rafting - hope e'one has fun and comes back alive. Be back Sunday night then hopefully can hang out next week before most everyone leaves on the 13th.
Isn't funny how sometimes things work out just the way they should...
Damn i gotta go back to work now
p.s. anyone interested in seeing hustle and flow with abhishek and me? p.s.s. port city java has really good coffee - if you're ever downtown, stop in |

Went to Pita House for the first time in months with 'Shek last night - good to see my brotha again. 17 years together - now he leavin' me man! Don't matter though 'cuz it's still "brothers 'til the end"
Then we rolled over to Vijay's birthday party which was a lot of fun. I sucked ass the first the game, but i bowled like a 104 second game which was good enough for second behind Vijay. Then, a bunch of people left for roasters so some of the guys just messed around on the open lanes and almost broke half the balls by throwing them so much! haha. Definitely a great time hanging out with everyone once again. Finally saw Logan after like a month and a half - good to see her again.
Haha good conversations with my girl Maheen (after I broke her lap ;-)
Random quotes that were inspired from a convo last night: "Gaaaattttooorraadddeee" "Water sucks it really really sucks" "Sooo hot want to touch the heinie" "Girl I know your feet must be tired 'cuz you been running through my mind all day-come here girl!" "Girl you look so good I wish I could plant you and grow a whole field of y'all!"
... haha - thanks for enlightening my night :-)
What's up with the weather lately? It's crazy - 103 degrees yesterday! can't even go outside without having to take a shower when you get back! man... also, keep in your thoughts all the families in bombay that were affected by the rains - all the lives lost, homes lost, and damage incurred... |

| | Boyz in da Hood - Dem Boyz | ] | Life is going sooo well right now - I can't complain about anything. I love how everything is going - for once, there is no drama in my life, and I intend on keeping it that way.
I just got back from Florida last night. The trip was pretty good. My cousin was having twins so we had a baby shower for her. We stopped in Jacksonville on Friday night and then reached St. Petersburg on Saturday. Then all the pool party Saturday night was crazy - sooo much fun. Sunday morning was the actual baby shower and the function which was good too. We then left at 1:30 and got to Greenville at about 11:15 so we made it in less than 10 hours which was great timing. It was a nice break from work though.
I only have 26 days until I move into Clemson. I cannot wait - just talking to all my Clemson people is getting me ready to go! Finally did some dorm room shopping and got the TV, couch, PS2, etc. The room is gonna be so tricked out. And of course, there'll always be a space for anyone wanting to crash...
Work is the same ol' same ol'. Aesha's coming into town this weekend! Haven't seen that girl in a long time. Oh, Jenna's whipped cream fight is on Saturday! HAHA - that's gonna be crazy - all the whipped cream bikinis... I might get some chocolate whipped cream too ... hhmmmm.
I finally talked to Nicole a few days ago - she seems to be doing well. If anyone has tried to call her and not gotten through, it's because she has no service at her house. She also doesn't have her internet hooked up so she can't get online from home. But she's doing well so that's good.
Alright that's all for now I guess. Oh, The Italian Job is a great movie - I love mini coopers now - hated them before but they're sooo sweet when built right.
P.S. Suhani and Aesha are two of the coolest people. |

Work is still the same ol' same ol' - we finally got more people so our workload isn't as much now as it used to be. 35 days now, and I cannot wait to get there... get away from greenville, get away from the old, get on to new things and new paths. Oh, we finally got dorm assignments and I'm glad as hell that we got the honors dorms... so sayce, gramz, and all you guys there's a lotta room for you guys to crash now...lol
Happy Birthday Mia!! The big 1-9!!! Lot of fun at your house and talking to your parents - haha!! It's a kickass house so you know that Bert and I are going to be coming over a lot more now ;-). Celebrated Mia's birthday with coffee-chocolate ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins(very good cake!!!) and also went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - good movie. Johnny Depp is pretty funny as Willie Wonka. I do, however, still like the first one a lot. Gene Wilder was a really good Willie Wonka, and it's kinda hard to say which Charlie was better - they were both good. Since it's not a remake rather just a reinterpretation, it's not a which is better just which you like more. Go see it though - it's good.
Going to Tampa next weekend then Augusta on August 5-7 so I'll be out of town for a few of the remaining weekends. I rather enjoy travelling - Greenville can get old after a while. Everyone live it up for the rest of the summer... |

| | Green Day - Good Riddance | ] | So I haven't updated this in a while, so I thought I'd do it today. Work is crazy - busy as hell. This working 10 hours a day thing can get quite boring after a while - haha. I, however, do enjoy the breaks I take playing pool and chilling in the courtyard. To all those people that were waiting to hear about the job, the company only wants full time employees rather summer employees so sorry to all you guys. The one perk was that they have a deal with Dell where you get 12% off on top of the 34% that Dell gave me so I got a kick ass deal on this laptop. Now, I'm ready for some UT! Ben, Zoheb, you guys ready???
The summer, otherwise, has been going pretty well - 48 days until Clemson so I'm definitely counting that down. But, I'm still going to enjoy the rest of the time I have here to the fullest. Yesterday was Baldeep's graduation party which went off really well. One of the highlights definitely had to be the song that Taran wrote and played for his big bro. "So I guess what I'm saying is good luck at Duuukkkee..." His parents had brought people from all over the country which was really cool. It was definitely a great time when we all just kicked it.
"For what it's worth, it was worth all the while, it's something unpredictable but it the end it's right, I hope you had the time of your life..."
...I think I've finally stopped caring. |

| | G-Unit - Hate it or love it (Remix) | ] | Well it has been an awesome week so far! Orientation on Monday and Tuesday was fucking awesome!! Initally I wasn't too excited about going to Clemson, but now I cannot wait!! I met a bunch of cool people, and I found my roommate too. Since my parents weren't there, Kelton's mom adopted all the guys whose parents weren't there so Peter and I were under Momma Banks for the weekend! Haha!! Good times. Had a blast hanging out with everyone and playing ultimate frisbee on Bowman Field. Also I met people I hadn't seen since middle school so I got to hang out with Nick and Sharkey too. Some of the lectures were boring but everything else made up for it. We stayed in Byrnes and were up til about 3:30 eating pizza and just chillin'. Had to wake up at 7 the next day though.
It sucked having to leave, but hey guys, two more months!! as one of my friends said: "ChipperPVV4: i say we all just go up a month early and have a month long party to bring in the new year". you gotta love that idea don't ya? Don't worry guys - two more months, then we have four years of partying left!! The social was kinda cool that night - hung out with some new people. Anyways, I am pumped about it!
C-L-E-M-S-O-N T-I-G-E-RRRRRR-S FIGHT TIGERS FIGHT TIGERS FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!
Work is busy - supposed to be getting some new people next week so hopefully they'll be good because we need some good people since they fired the only good people we ever had! Anyway, whatever. Suhani's was fun on Tuesday night. Had like 16 people in her bedroom though - kinda tight space. Me: "It smells like shit!" Jess S.: "What does?" Me: "It smells like shit!" Jess S.: "What does??" Anoushae: "The air stupid!!!!"
haha!!!
alright, guess that's all. i'm out. |

| | Kanye West - Family Business | ] | Well this week has been absolutely crazy. It was my frist week on the job which is really good but can get very boring. On top of all that, there is so much bullshit going on that I don't know where to begin, so I'm not going to. But it pays well and I get overtime extra-pay so I'll be set for college.
Jess's arangetram was yesterday. She did an amazing job dancing on stage and all the preparations were really good too. Of course, gotta give props to Shawn for everything he did. I believe that Alka aunty said he was "like a chicken with his head cut off." Then, the entire crew went out to bowling for Zoheb's birthday. Man oh man, interesting night. Here's the highlight: it's the 8th frame and I just knocked down 8 pins so I have two more to get for a spare. So I bowl the ball but I realize that I'm about to cross the line that you can't touch with your feet so I jump it so I'm OK. However, I have to get back so I decide to jump onto the other lane and walk back to the seat. BAD IDEA! I forget that the lanes are made slick so the ball goes smoother. So I just and land but I slip because of the slickness and doing kind of a twist and land in the gutter on the next lane on my knees and shoulders. I don't know how many people saw me fall but I GOT THE SPARE BITCHES!!! That's all that matters, but that was definitely the highlight of my night... well highlight of the week actually. It was a great night. Happy Birthday Zoheb! Oh, also, Jess Siriwardane was in town from Indiana so it was really cool for all of us to see her again!
Had lunch with Brittany today and she gave me my grad present which is the coolest thing ever(Thanks so much!). I had to take a Spanish placement test for Clemson so I went to take that at 4:00. Haha - I finished a test that was supposed to be 1 hour in 30 minutes. Hopefully I actually did well though. Met my mom at Sofa Express and did some furniture shopping. Since my dad is in China, my mom and I have time to do all this shopping. I just now got back from a walk with my mom, and I have to go pack. Tomorrow and Tuesday is orientation at Clemson so if you need me urgently, just call the cell and leave a message. |

| | Notorious B.I.G. - Warning | ] | Well, this weekend was one of the best in a long time. As much as I had to run around all weekend, yesterday night made up for it. I was out all day on Friday getting stuff done - car service and food shopping to get ready for the party. Cousins from Raleigh and D.C. came into town on Friday night so we were up for a while and just talked - really nice to catch up with them. Saturday, we had to get everything ready for the graduation party. My parents had decided to throw a graduation party with family and family friends so I had to go pick up the food we had ordered and everything. Family came in from ATL, Phoenix, Tennessee and around Greenville as well. Everyone came over at 6 or so and didn't leave until about midnight or one.
The party went off really well. A lot of people showed up which made it good because I got to spend the night with a lot of family I hadn't seen. My sister had spent A LOT of time putting a scrapbook of photos together for me and got everyone to write something. So, to all my friends whom she talked to, thank you for what you wrote and had to say. So much funny shit went down I can't even remember it all. All I know is that I'm defintely going to have to go to D.C. sometime this summer! Then, after the party, all the cousins went to my sister's house and had a great time there too. All in all, it was an awesome weekend. Tomorrow I start my new job downtown so if you want to have lunch one day, give me a call.
I just watched The Longest Yard which was pretty funny. Kinda sucked to see Adam Sandler get hit in the nuts so many times because that shit hurts. Good movie though. Now, I'm gonna go strum away on the guitar. |

| | Lifehouse - You and Me | ] | Well these last few days have been pretty chill. I've been running around a lot to get the cars fixed - oil change, tire rotation. So, today I went to Sam's and got new tires on our van. It took a long time so I was roaming around Sam's for about an hour and half. That was alright (they have some good books there). Then, came home and chilled for a bit. There's hardly anything good on TV in the afternoon nowadays. What happened to the good shows?
Dentist at 4:00 for my cleaning. My mouth feels good now. Then, I had some time to kill so I hung out with Lesh at Roasters for about an hour - talked about the new gossip on the streets! lol. Picked up my dad and just got home. Gonna go play tennis in a little while.
MTV Movie Awards and NBA Finals Game 1 tonight. Pistons vs. Spurs - any predictions? My guess - Spurs in 6 games.
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE GOING TO NATS! - Suhani, Baldeep, Rebecca, Shivam, Kevin, Viki, Stephanie, Matthew, Frank, and Nikhil! |
